In the course of its technological ranking, MESURES magazine awarded several prizes on September 19th that rewarded ten particularly innovative companies in the fields of instrumentation and automation. On the first step of the podium in the “Industrial Software” category, the jury decided to reward the "multi-protocol solution nexy for wireless sensor networks" by steute.
This 1st prize attests to the work of the French subsidiary based in Meylan (near Grenoble), directed by Jean-Marc Jacob. Present in France since 2006, steute France has convinced many customers of the quality and innovative feature of its products. During the technological ranking of 2009, the subsidiary had already seduced the MESURES magazine jury with its range of energy harvesting wireless switches. In the 2019 technological ranking, steute is again facing well-known names: among the companies nominated in the “Industrial Software” category, we can mention Schneider Electric, Siemens, Omron, Rockwell Automation, PTC, Sick, Siemens and Linaware.
nexy: wireless sensor network solutions for industry and intralogistics
Thanks to the nexy multiprotocol solution, the mobile machines and installations of the production units communicate directly via radio with the company's IT network. By combining sensors, software and services, steute enables its customers to automatically replenish their stock and optimize productivity by analyzing the collected radio data in real time. steute thus contributes to the digital transformation of connected factories and offers to its customers a unique opportunity to gain flexibility, to optimize production costs and boost competitiveness.
nexy technology is particularly well suited to AGV-based continuous flow manufacturing processes (Mesures, 2019). This innovative approach will be implemented by the end of the year for the production of prestigious vehicles in the automotive industry. » find out more
